Sichuan is the home of the panda bear

Sichuan is a Chinese province in the southwest of the country with Chengdu as its capital. The meaning of the name "Four Rivers". Traditionally, Sichuan is also called the "land of abundance." Depending on the transcription variant, there are different spellings of the city's name, such as Sechuan, Sichuan, or Sesuan.
The fertile land of the province has provided prosperity, contributing to the construction of numerous temples on the wooded slopes of Emi Shan and the construction of stunning Buddha burrows in Dazu and Le Shan. The snowy foothills of the Himalayas, up to 5,000 meters high, in the Tibetan north and west of Sichuan create an impressive contrast. The area around Songpan and Jiuzhai Gou in the far north can offer charming mountain scenery.
Chengdu, the capital of China's Sichuan Province, home to 10 million people, is home to the breeding ground of China's national symbol, the Great Panda, which is home to only about a thousand free-living animals. The province itself is also home to some of the most beautiful national parks in the People's Republic.
An endangered panda has found refuge in the Wolong Nature Reserve north of Chengdu.
Sichuan cuisine
In Sichuan, people are proud of their cuisine. It is known as one of the four great traditions of Chinese cuisine. It is described proverbially as "dish, shape, hundreds of dishes, hundreds of flavors", with its recognized diversity. The most characteristic features of Sichuan cuisine are described in four words: spicy, hot, fresh and fragrant. The cuisine is popular throughout China and is also internationally renowned.
Sichuan cuisine often contains canned food prepared by marinating, salting, and drying foods. As a rule, dishes are very spicy due to the use of chili oil. Sichuan pepper is often used. It has an intense, citrusy aroma and creates a "tingling" sensation in the mouth. Garlic, chili pepper, ginger, anise and other spicy herbs, plants and spices are also common in dishes. Fermented bean chili paste is also a staple of the cuisine. The local cuisine is also the source of several well-known sauces that are widely used in Chinese cuisine today, such as Yuxiang.

Dan Dan
This typical dish of Sichuan cuisine consists of a spicy sauce with pickles, thicker mustard stalks, chili oil, Sichuan pepper, minced pork and green onions. This dish is served on noodles.
The name refers to the way it is carried from a shoulder bag - dan dan. Street vendors were selling goods on foot to passersby. A basket was attached to a pole with a shoulder at each end. There were noodles in one basket and sauce in the other. Noodles cost almost nothing, and gradually the locals call the dish Dan-dan noodles. Literally translated, the names mean "noodles on a pole," but more accurately it can be translated as "peddler's noodles." Earn $50+ per friend with 1xbet promo code free bet in their registration.
